Stoneville purchases treated water from a corporation formed in 1988 by the towns of Stoneville and Maiden. This system can presently supply 300,000 gallons of water per day, with the capability of increasing this amount as needed. Trained personnel are on staff to maintain the water booster station and two water towers.
Due to age and costly upgrades, Stoneville shutdown its waste water treatment facility in 2005 and entered into an agreement with Maiden to treat and dispose of the sewage. Stoneville installed two new pumping stations and upgraded one.
During the 2011 - 2012 fiscal year, we will be upgrading our last two pump stations to better serve our growing community. To assure quality service, trained personnel are on staff to maintain all waste water pump stations.
